glue masonite on tiles which adhesive?
Tremco Lim & Byggfog or something similar should work fine. It becomes really strong and fills in irregularities well. It might not be the cheapest if it's a large surface, but on the other hand, you probably don't need to fully glue it but can apply in strings with a decimeter's gap.

A little question, perhaps an expansion from the topic:
Why masonite? It easily becomes wavy because it is so thin.
If it's going to be a new wall surface, maybe a drywall could be just as good?
You also attach that with mounting adhesive or NoMoreNails.
