When I google bonding adhesive, it says that it is poor at handling heat and weather exposure. Since I will be attaching it to roof tiles, it is perhaps quite critical that it withstands both high and low temperatures as well as rain, snow, and other conditions.john68 said:
Sounds strange if Waterlife recommends it for ponds are outdoors year-round...for many years...but it's probably true if that's what it says.E erkka said:
Yes, a bit strange indeed. It was on this page I read:john68 said:

Now, this is not really my field, so I'm groping in the dark a bit, but I find it difficult to find a suitable product.
ok! do you think it adheres to rubber? maybe it's easier to just go for trial and errorRickard.ag said:

It is not trial and error. Bitumen and EPDM are compatible and are joined on most tar paper roofs. Google Resitrix, and you will see that they can even be combined into a mat to get the bitumen paper's advantages and EPDM's UV protection. (kind of)
The one you linked probably works, but I'm not entirely sure what differentiates it from what is called roof adhesive that I had in mind, but I can guess that the joint is a bit more viscous and possibly fiber-reinforced to prevent cracking.
