Hi, I'm planning to make a window in an existing wooden wall with glass blocks. I thought about using plastic trim and adhesive. But how do you lay the last row on the side and top? Should I have a flexible sealant like latex on all sides except the bottom? Will the window be stable then? Or am I thinking completely wrong now... Do you attach the plastic trim with screws to the edges, like a frame, and then glue each block with the trim...

Hello! Did you make your window out of glass blocks? I'm curious if you have any experiences to share? I'm thinking of building a tall narrow "window" of glass blocks on one side of a shed I'm planning to build. And I'm unsure about how I should seal it.

Why not a regular window!?

Because it turned out better and nicer with this :-)

Edit: Later realized you were responding to Jonas_80 :-)

Went really well! Now mine is inside a hallway and this window leads to the basement. I just made the frame with the measurements of the strips+the glasses. Then it's just about gluing and then I sealed with regular sealant.
