I have cast a slab directly against my existing house, but below ground level.
To support an existing walkway, I had to lay about 4 courses of LECA blocks on the opposite long side of the house.
The rest of the walls above ground will be built with 45*145 studs, in the usual way, directly on the LECA blocks.
The internal ceiling height will be about 3 meters, which will give me, on the inside: the first lower part of the wall in LECA and the rest up to the ceiling with regular wooden studs with, for example, chipboard with plaster on top.
The width of the garage is only 280 cm, so I don't want to insulate inward at all.
My question is, quite simply: What should be done with the LECA part on the inside?
On the outside, there is currently a platon membrane directly against the LECA blocks and on top of that, gravel against the walkway.
Just plaster it with, for example, gypsum plaster?
Can one put some kind of board there so that the walls look "like regular" walls from floor to ceiling?
