Hi, I have plans to build a garage in the barn. 8m long and 6m wide. It's a warm garage. A door on the barn's gable 3x3m. The problem is the slab. When I pour it, I don't know how to make the edge beam. The supports currently in the outer wall are to be replaced with new 220 studs, but how do I extend the slab to the existing boarding?

There is a lying log which they are currently standing on. The idea was to cut off the lying log and only keep the standing posts. Cut the boarding 30 cm at the lower edge. Then form from the outside and when you've poured the slab, remove the old posts one at a time as you place new 220 studs on the new slab. Then fill the old post holes with concrete?

The wall inside the barn in the third image, I'm considering casting a 30 cm wide edge beam on the inside before the slab, then keeping the wall and putting up the new one inside. Just because it is supporting an extension from the barn.

Anyone who has done something similar or has tips?
