Need to build a new wall about 20cm in front of the outer wall in the basement to conceal water, sewage pipes, and electricity.
The wall that has been there for the last 30 years was made of wooden studs directly against the concrete slab, chipboard, and tiles on the outside. Inside was 20cm of glass wool directly against the concrete wall. No air gaps, sealing strips, or similar. It was a bit damp at the bottom and smelled slightly of basement. The drainage is probably really old and outside is a large extension (on a crawl space) so nothing can be changed there.

I plan to install metal studs at 450mm centers and some waterproof paneling that will then be tiled.
The room will have a shower, toilet, sink, and utility sink, so a ventilated wall with an air gap at the floor is out of the question. The floor will have tiles, no underfloor heating. Just a water radiator.

The question is (as has been asked 1000 times before...)
- Would you insulate? I know it's technically incorrect to insulate the inside, but the wall has held up well before.
- If so, how much insulation? 5/10/15/20 cm?
- Air gap behind the insulation?
- Maybe even a Platon membrane against the concrete outer wall?

I also quickly considered building up with Leca blocks instead. Takes up a bit more space, but should cost about the same, and stone always feels a bit better than metal studs and panels. Opinions?

What do you think about gluing/attaching EPS 10-15cm thick directly to the outer wall and then building up with 90mm leca in front?
Are there any risks with this really?

It's quite similar to a regular iso-leca wall, isn't it?
Some waterproofing and tiles in the shower and plaster/silicate paint on the rest of the walls.

No one who has an opinion or wants to dissuade me from this?
