Hello.
We are in builder mode as we have acquired a plot with a stalled project.
On the plot, there was a started slab ready for casting but for various reasons, it was not cast. We have now received new building permission where we are changing the house that was intended for the site and thus also changing the floor plan, which means we need to reroute all water, sewage, and underfloor heating.
The slab was left uncast for about 2 years, so now to the question: can the existing cellplast be used or do we need to buy new? All pipes that have been exposed to sunlight will of course be replaced, but what about the cellplast itself? When we have removed all the cellplast, one can notice a significant difference in weight between the layer that was on top and the one underneath.
It would be great to avoid buying new cellplast for the entire foundation.
Grateful for any help.
