I have a small casting project underway and the mold will be made from formplyfa. But where I've been to buy the plywood, they are always twisted and warped. Is formplyfa always twisted or is it a matter of quality difference?

Now it's hard to know how much warp you mean, but thin plywood is often somewhat warped, maybe around 5 cm, but in most cases, it's not a problem as the shape becomes straight when screwed together.

Make sure to place it on something flat when you screw it in so that it aligns correctly.

The thicker, the more stable and straight.
