We are going to cast an 80 cm high wall that has a rounded section in the middle. The wall should be 15 cm thick. But is it easiest to make the casting mold using formplywood or with planks to achieve the rounded part?

Drawing of an 80 cm high concrete wall with a curved section, 15 cm thick, and a 260 cm wide gap in the design, showcasing form ideas.

I recall that someone on the forum used masonite to build a similar form. What is flexible apart from Masonite is groove-cut and thus bendable MDF.

Flexible, slotted MDF board being bent into a cylindrical shape, showing its bendability for construction projects.

Note that I have never done anything like this myself...

Apart from Masonite, what's available that is flexible is grooved and thus flexible MDF.

Thanks, @slacker! I missed that one! It should turn out very round and nice if you also reinforce it with several layers of masonite as suggested in the thread.
