Hello,

I'm building a guesthouse of 45 sqm and the craftsmen have forgotten to put sill seal under the interior walls. However, there is sill seal under the exterior walls.

How bad is this? Unfortunately, it's very troublesome to change it now.

What are they standing on? A concrete slab with insulation underneath??

That's correct. A layer of crushed stone, 200 mm of cell plastic, 10 cm of concrete. There is underfloor heating if that matters.

Spontaneously, it sounds unlikely that there would be any moisture in the concrete slab that could migrate up into the sill, due to the cellular plastic. It might possibly be during the construction phase if the slab hasn't completely dried out yet. Moisture can be present in the concrete for up to about 6 months.

Can't you lift the sill a millimeter with the jack and slide the felt under? Wooden houses can move a little.

It is completely in order, indeed there might be some moisture remaining in the slab as "hempularen" writes, but it will dry out over time. Any new moisture from below that could jeopardize your interior walls is unlikely with that construction.
Personally, I wouldn't be worried about anything.

By the way, what kind of studs do they have? Wood or steel?

Wood studs. Lifting with a jack will not work.

Regardless of it being wood, the likelihood of moisture getting into the wall's structure with 200mm of foam beneath the concrete is extremely low, so live with it.

I live with it. Thanks for the input!
