Hello!
I'm going to extend the house and have built basement walls with lecablock. The floor structure will rest on the wall. I've seen examples where you place a sill on tar paper (base paper) and nail the floor structure to the sill. That seems the simplest way to do it... However, I end up a bit higher than desired with the new floor if I have a 45mm sill on the wall... What if I skip the sill and have the floor structure directly on the base paper instead? Are there any issues apart from needing a lot of angle brackets and it being a bit more work to attach to the wall?

I am also expanding my house with a basement and building walls with leca. I considered that leca should not have high point loads and therefore ensured that all heavier loads were anchored in the standing rim joist, 45x220, which rests on the sill. I do not believe that the sill distributes the pressure sufficiently. If you do it that way, it is likely not a big risk to skip the sill.
I'm on the same track. How do you attach the kantbjälke? With 90° metal angles and some nail plug?
