Hello.
I have a small question regarding what is required for the floor/foundation construction for a wood boiler with 3 buffer tanks? I would guess that the boiler weighs around 700kg when loaded and the tanks around 1 ton each. I'm planning to convert a storage room into a boiler room. The floor construction there is just 95mm joists spaced at 60cm. Do I need to take up the floor and pour a slab, or is it possible to make a timber frame construction that can withstand such weights?
Grateful for any tips and suggestions.

I would opt for a concrete floor. 4 tons on a wood joist might be doable but definitely not on one with 45x95.

What does it cost to have a concrete slab cast approximately 13sqm? Does anyone know? I don't think it needs to be excavated because there should be fill material underneath as it's right next to the house... (not a blade of grass has grown there since '75).
