In connection with external additional insulation and the removal of the inner side of the exterior wall, I have run two flexible conduits from the inside to the eaves outside where surveillance cameras are to be installed.

So far they only go through the top beam (wall plate?) and now I'm considering where in the interior wall I should route them. They should not exit on this floor, they should just run inside the exterior wall down to the basement below.

The wall has 120 mm of new external insulation, and the two conduits then protrude in the middle of the wall, which was originally 120 mm thick.

I can then run the conduit in the middle of the wall or closer to the inside - where should I have run it?

(I'll have to drill down through the horizontal blocks in the wall.)

Once down in the basement, the conduit will continue in the joist between the living area and the cold storage area below.

The reason for my question is mainly to reduce the risk of condensation.

As close to the outer wall as possible.
