I am currently in the process of replacing the garage door from an old folding door with springs to an overhead door. Since the new door will be located inside the interior wall, which is about 100 mm behind the old folding door, part of the floor that was previously "indoors" will now be outside the door. Unfortunately, this part of the floor slopes towards the door, and I'm afraid that if the rain is against the door, water might find its way into the garage due to this backfall. Therefore, I would need to chip away 20-25 mm along the garage door, about 100 mm in width, and recast the slope. What do you use in such a case to level it out? As I said, it's outdoors.

I had the same situation a few years ago, when hinged doors were replaced with overhead doors, and unfortunately, they ended up inside on the slab.
I recast the outer part with coarse concrete, creating a slope away from the door. Unfortunately, that wasn't quite enough, as I didn't begin the slope far enough under the door, so when it rains heavily against the doors, water still sometimes seeps in under the rubber buffer. So I will have to create a small edge on the slab to stop it. I just don't know if I should continue by casting a "one-centimeter" high edge or laying some kind of metal/plastic strip over the slab between the frames. Suggestions are welcome on this, even in my case.
