Hello...

There are many questions ahead of upcoming renovations... :)
I'm now considering fire-rated walls.
I live in a townhouse from 1968. I hardly think there are fire-rated walls between the properties, but now that I'm going to reinforce the wall and prepare hoses and boxes for electricity, I wonder the following:
1. Fire rating according to EI 60. It requires 2x 13mm gypsum, but is this equivalent to 1x OSB and 1x 13mm gypsum?
2. Fire-rated VP hoses. Do they exist? I've seen that there are rated boxes...

Regards

Lifting the thread a bit...
I have seen that to achieve EI60, it is indicated in some texts that in a wood construction it can apply:
Single gypsum 13mm + frame + single gypsum 13mm.
If a fire starts in one property, there are two layers of gypsum before the fire reaches the adjacent property.
Or is it my responsibility to ensure that a potential fire on my side does not reach the frame until after 60 minutes?

/F
