Hello
I have cut some grooves for electricity in my concrete walls. What can be used to fill them in when I'm done? I was considering maybe gypsum plaster or household fix. But what gives the best result?

Hmm, time to think about it now ;) I usually use tile adhesive (Casco multifix premium) for simple repair work in concrete. There are other adhesives, and this one is probably among the more expensive, but it is much easier to work with compared to many others. I made the mistake of buying Biltema's adhesive, and although it worked for the purpose, I wouldn't use it as a repair compound because it was less of a mass and more like a semi-liquid gritty porridge. Putty always sinks, manufacturers can say what they will, but that's how it is, and adhesive doesn't sink. If you smooth it out after a maximum of one day, the adhesive hasn't hardened too much and is workable with, for example, a "green sponge" (or even a damp cloth) if it's just about removing spills outside edges, or a paint scraper if you want to smooth out something larger. If you want an even better surface, you can always putty the last millimeter with regular putty. If the surface is concrete anyway, the putty might give too fine a finish, so the adhesive might match the concrete better.

I have used Casco Husfix. (y)

I have used both plaster and husfix – I think both work well since they do not shrink (or at least very little).

Husfix is very hard which (I suppose?) is good – as long as you don't accidentally overfill, then it's really tough to sand down... plaster is easier to handle once cured, and personally, I don't think it matters much that it's softer (rarely do I try to put a screwdriver or knife in the finished wall)...
