Hello,
We recently removed an oil tank from our newly purchased 1950s house. Where the pipes were, there are now two holes approximately 10-15 cm in diameter. What is the best way to fill these? The holes are about half a meter above the ground and the wall is made of hollow brick and is maybe 50 cm deep.

The simplest and best way is probably a bag of mortar mix B and a suitable piece of brick/concrete/Leca/stone that is lying around in the garden. Just plop it in the mortar and press in the stone, make sure it sits a couple of cm inside the plaster. Let it dry for a few hours, then plaster it neatly and smooth it with a board. Preferably done both on the inside and outside.

Thank you for the response. Maybe I'm slow, but what do you mean by "make sure it sits a few centimeters inside the plaster"? Do you mean towards the start of the faade? That is, not filling it completely at first?

Thanks
