I have a new front door to install and have previously created new holes when we installed our current front door because the old holes were too big, causing the plugs to just spin.
Now that we are going to install the new one, I would prefer not to create new holes in the frame but to use the pre-drilled standard holes in the frame. To do this, I need to fill the holes in the lightweight concrete so that I can drill again for the plugs to secure properly. What should I use for the best effect, or do you have any other tips for good solutions that would allow me to avoid making new holes in the frame?
And if I fill them, is there something that dries very quickly? Since the installation of the new door will be outsourced, I would prefer to fill the holes myself before they come to avoid a lot of waiting time and extra travel costs with the carpenter that I have to pay for, etc.
