Hello,

I have discovered a crack in a bedroom in my house that is being renovated.
Crack in bedroom wall near window frame and pipes, with an arrow pointing to it. Visible outdoor view through the partially open window. Large vertical crack in a white wall corner with exposed pipes, showing signs of wear and needing repair in a renovation project.

Behind this wall is a living room and it also has a crack at the edge of the wall.
A crack in a corner of a room with a curtain hanging, exposing a small opening. Sunlight shines on the wall, highlighting texture and damage. Crack in a corner of a white wall, extending from floor to ceiling, with visible gap and text marking the bedroom behind this wall.

There is a crack/hole through so you can see a bit into the other room through it.

Bought this https://www.hornbach.se/shop/Vaggspackel-FINJA-Laga-Vagg-15-kg/8835586/artikel-detaljer.html

I was thinking I could fill the entire crack with this putty. After I had mixed a small portion of it to test how it is to work with the material. I had difficulty pressing the material deep into the crack, what can I do better to press the material deep into it?

Should something else be used to fix this?

Any tips are appreciated.

You are on the right track using that product. It is indeed tight to get in between; if you have a small butter knife, it might help a little. Alternatively, you can buy filler in a tube and press the product in.

Watched some videos on YouTube where someone filled a foam-like material in depth first and then applied putty with a similar material. Is that foam-like material for insulation? Or can I try to just push this putty as deep as possible?

You probably mean spray foam, I would have used putty.

Okay, tried a bit from the bedroom and it was very difficult to push in the material. I think I managed to push in about 1.5-2 cm. It's not easy to work from the bedroom with the water pipes in the way. But is it basically just pushing the material in with a wide putty knife? I thought it might be easier to push the material in from the living room.

Which spackel in a tube would you recommend for that?

A perfectly okay product. You don’t need to mix or anything, just press it in and let it dry. Depending on how big the crack is, of course, more tubes may be needed.
