As I understand it, you should have a small gap between each board when using Masonite for interior walls... now I've filled in every visible seam, but what effect does this have? Will the house explode? Or is it not that sensitive?
I talked to the manufacturers.
1. The boards don't need to be wet during installation, just put them up
2. You don't need to use any special nails or screws, just make sure they're not too thick so the material doesn't crack.
However, I missed asking about how important the gap is between the boards.
