Hi, I have an old fence that's starting to fall apart and I'm thinking of going to the lumber yard to buy some new wood, paint, and attach it. Do you have any helpful ideas on how to best attach the boards to this type of fence post? Previously, I've used what I assume are wood screws (torx) that have been a bit too long, so they've stuck out on the back side. Maybe shorter similar wood screws? I'm grateful for any help. A wooden fence attached to a metal post with screws, showing signs of damage and wear, set against a grassy background.
