I will attach 4 joist hangers to a wall of lightweight concrete. These will currently support a bridge, but it will later be built in, significantly increasing its weight. Further out, footings will be cast.

I tried using a regular concrete anchor, but it didn't hold at all.

Could it be better with a larger model nail plug?

  • A large plastic nail plug with a metal screw used for securing objects to materials like lightweight concrete.
If I buy the largest balkskor, I think there are three big holes on each side. That should be enough...:o

Hilti Hit HY-70 and M12 threaded rod drilled 150mm into the aerated concrete. The easiest way is usually to first attach a beam this way and then attach the joist hangers to the beam.
