Faking timber walls?

Hello
Is there anyone who has any idea on how one could achieve a "look" of old timber on the walls, in a room that is meant to have a feeling of a hunting lodge?
Possibly, walls similar to old planks could be considered, could new rough paneling get an old appearance?
Grateful for any tips and ideas.

There is an incredibly simple way to fake log walls. There is paneling made for outdoor cladding with knots available by the meter and panels that fit into the knots, looks really realistic and extremely stylish! I have seen it myself on a summer cottage and they had also clad the interior walls with this panel but instead of knots, they used a square strip in the corners. Google around a bit, and you'll probably find it.
