Can't you just go for a standard solution like this?

I don't feel like spending 4000kr on a solution that I don't think is particularly nice, unfortunately, I looked at that first but my house is very skewed in dimensions etc. so it really needs to be custom built :/

Ah okay :)

There is a wardrobe on the side where it should be "hidden," but it has a cover piece on that side that can be removed to create a space. The cover piece is 10cm from the wardrobe to the door trim.
Given the measurements, 620 to the wall and door width 815, a full door leaf won't fit.
The IKEA doors are also only 880 in total width.

I suggest the following:
Use the IKEA doors, but individually, i.e., install a double track, preferably from the specialist in fittings.

This way, you can use their hanger roller, which is smoother than Jula's, and get the door leaves tightly against each other.
You mount the tracks in a box that replaces the upper trim, and they run the entire room's width.
You trick the eye, and the door leaves can cover the opening.

On the rear leaf "1", you attach a pass strip the same width as the frame around the glass, i.e., you extend the width so that the leaf goes behind the front "2".
Now you can mount "tongues" on the pass strip, for example in plastic, which grab the leaf "2" when you pull out the door. This makes the door leaves follow each other when you open and close.

Hope you understand some of my reasoning :)
I have a similar solution in the caravan, and it's darn handy.
In the drawing (which got a bit messy), I haven't drawn in the wardrobe, but the tracks and both door leaves fit behind it since the tracks are 50 together in width, and you only need to extend 15 from the wall to pass the trim.

Drawing of a sliding door installation with dual tracks, door panels, and notes on mounting strategies for optimal fitting in narrow spaces.

Then you can use their hanger roller, which is more convenient than Jula's, and make the door leaves quite tight against each other.
You mount the tracks in a box that replaces the upper trim, and they go the full width of the room.
You deceive the eye, and the door leaves can cover the opening.

On the rear leaf "1," attach a trim piece the same width as the framework around the glass, i.e., you increase in width so that leaf goes behind the front "2."
You can now mount "tongues" on that trim piece in, for example, plastic, that will grab leaf "2" when you slide the door out. This makes the door leaves move together when you open and close them.

I hope you understand some of my thinking :)
I have a similar solution in the caravan, and it’s damn smooth.
In the drawing (which turned out a bit messy), I haven’t included the wardrobe, but both tracks and door leaves fit behind, as the tracks are 50 together in width, and you only need to build out 15 from the wall to pass the frame.

That was very well explained, calculated, and drawn!
I did think a double trim might be better, but I was skeptical because I didn't want to keep sliding two doors back and forth... Didn't think there was a solution for that! But that will actually be perfect! I don't need to try finding other doors that I don't want anyway haha!
Thank you so much for the help!

Glad to help, there's a solution for everything. Just get started then (y)

Hello! Reviving this thread again since we have now decided to do just that but with a simpler solution. We have all the materials, and we have placed the doors on the wall where we want them and feel comfortable with it sticking out 10cm into the doorway (the doorway is wider than usual anyway).

Now my question is, how do I best assemble the doors? That is, so they are attached next to each other and become "one door"...? I was thinking of using metal plates at the top and bottom as well as behind (inside the bedroom), which might not be the most aesthetic solution, but I’m not sure how else to do it.

Then there’s one more thing, in the glass cabinet doors we bought from Ikea, there are pre-drilled holes for the hinges... how do I best and neatly "fill" these? Are there any covers that can be clicked in or something?
