I ordered and paid for an 8.8m long aluminum ladder from Bygghemma at the end of March 2021. After three weeks, they still hadn't delivered it. But - on April 16th, I received an email from Bygghemma, stating that the courier (DSV) had lost the ladder!!! Can it go any worse? How can it happen, losing an 8.8m long ladder?!? Furthermore, the question of whether I want my money back or if Bygghemma should send a replacement. It's hard to believe what you can experience with this mail-order company!!!

What would be a good alternative for Bygghemma?

Probably the ladders are being loaded/unloaded/transported by a forklift at one of DSV's locations, and the ladder fell off the forklift forks/pallet/etc.

Or something might have "bumped" the ladder when it was placed on top of some goods, causing it to fall down.

One of several alternatives to Bygghemma could be the local building supplier.

That happens.
It's probably not Bygghemma's fault that there's a mess at the terminals.
Long delivery times, well I guess it's the current global situation.
I've been waiting since January for 4 downlights I've ordered from Bygghemma.
I've been informed about delivery in May.
No point in trying to order elsewhere as it seems that no one has them in stock.

Don't understand how it can be Bygghemma's fault either?
