Hi, I plan to attach 95x95 posts to concrete foundations for a fence. I'm trying to find information on how long expansion bolts I should use? Anyone with experience?

Best regards,
Petrus

Expansion bolt for wooden posts? Shouldn't you use post shoes instead?

No, it's actually a concrete block cast against the rock where the posts for the fence will be attached.

So you mean that the expansion bolts should go through the posts...
In that case, it's probably easier with threaded rod and anchoring compound.

Ok, you mean anchor the threaded rod in the wall with anchor resin? Good idea

I also think it's the easiest way. Although pin screw expanders with the projection you need do exist, they are hardly something you can easily find on the shelf.
