expand = Expensive

Hi, I've been looking into expanding, but it's awfully expensive. So, I considered buying a prefabricated house and connecting it to the existing structure. Then I looked at houses up in Norrland, they're really cheap, about 100 sqm for around 100,000 SEK. So I thought, can't you buy a house and transport it down here? Do you know any company that can handle that? Has anyone done it? It might be cheaper than expanding?

But how will it look? Do you have a timmerhsu from before or what? Otherwise, it might get a bit awkward..

I know there are several who have done this, call a haulage company up north and ask, and if they don't do it themselves, they can surely give you tips on where you should turn

Well, I have an old cottage of about 70 sqm, I would need to expand or maybe demolish and build a new one, it seems to be cheaper?

you can get log cabins for a cheap price so I would probably focus on tearing down and building new ones..

Well, it's worth thinking about. I don't think a company should charge more than 100,000 SEK for a move. If you go up to 200,000 SEK, there's a lot left over for extras.
