Exhaust to counteract moisture in cold attic
I have neither the money nor the energy to renovate the attic, there are some grey areas, most likely mold, I thought I would clean as much as possible. Drill 3 holes, one in each corner of the attic side, screens 2 dm downwards.
It won't get rid of the moisture, but the air will be set in motion in a quiet and cheap way,
Am I completely off base?

We also have white mold in the attic, most likely due to humid air from the residence, but since it was discovered (during inspection before purchase), we have installed more fresh air vents and 2 PAX fans, and that's about as far as my level of ambition goes for now.
Don't know if it will work, maybe. Moisture from the residence should primarily be ventilated where the moisture arises; the bathroom, laundry room, and kitchen should be equipped with mechanical exhaust. Also the toilet if possible. Is the attic completely sealed? Ventilation intake? When was the house built? Additional insulation?
The attic has small holes on either side, some as big as ping-pong balls. Insulated at the bottom with wood chips. The house is from the 1970s, ventilated with one vent in each room.J Johan456 said:Don't know if it will work, maybe. Before I bought it, it was only used as a summerhouse, now a permanent residence.
The mold was likely there before the purchase; when the heat pump was installed in 2017, the discoloration was discovered.
Budget ftx? To have in the house, I also have a fireplace that I can use a bit more this winter, I've become so lazy with the air source heat pump.https://ventilationsexpressen.se/rumsventilationer/thermex-thr100-med-varmeatervinningJ Johan456 said:Don't know if it will work, maybe. Getting a couple of vents tomorrow, I'll wait on exhausting to the attic until I find one that seems safe enough, sawdust, electricity, and moisture don't mix well.
