If it's sticky, it should be fine. But apply a layer. The cable gets embedded and all, it sounds risky that something would go wrong because of that.
I'll go with that..
Seems weird that it would matter if some primer ends up on the cable..

As I understand it from others in threads here
On BH, some have primed after installation (even if it's harder)

I think they want to avoid the mess that happens. A finished electrician puts up a network after priming and then knocks up the cable in no time. They have clothes accordingly, etc.

Yes, of course you want to avoid a mess. But considering that, a little primer on the cable shouldn't hurt😎

Apply the primer concentrate about an hour before you need to float and it will be great. Nothing to lose sleep over.

No, it should be stated in the instructions then. That cable should be integrated there, so what would happen.

Will do that..
Before, I diluted it 1:1 as the instructions said.
But now I should use concentrate, you think?

Yes. You dilute it with water so that it absorbs more easily into the substrate. Now, since you already have a layer of primer, it’s just to bind the potential dust layer on the top, and if you skip the water it dries faster. Even though it doesn't matter if it's still wet when you apply the finish. The adhesion is already there.

Great!
Should I just splash it on with a roller... or carefully brush it with a brush in each grid?

Or just take a plant sprayer and mist it?
Though it might get on the cable quite a bit then😂

Rollers are probably the easiest. It doesn't matter that most of it ends up on the net or on the cable. Some of it does end up on the floor, which counts.

Okay!
I'll do that.
Can't hurt anyway!
Thanks!

Usually spray when it needs to be primed after the net and cable are laid, I think it's easiest

Yeah, I started brushing... but it turned into a spray and it was smooth haha!

How did the floor turn out then?

The professionals apply it with rollers, takes no time at all, not difficult either. Then on with net and electricity.
