Hi!
I am going to self-level.
Yesterday around 6 PM I applied primer, and when it dried so I could walk on the floor, I laid the mesh.
Then today in the morning, the floor heating was installed.
I was supposed to self-level, but for various reasons, it couldn't be done.

I will have help tomorrow. We will start around 9 AM.

But by then, 39 hours will have passed since I applied the primer.
According to the package (byggmax), self-leveling should occur within 1 day.
How strict is this?

How should it feel if you touch the floor?
Dry or sticky?

Can I apply a small layer again?
Does it matter if it gets on the heating cable, etc.?

Grateful for help as I am torn😅

The biggest question is more
How "worried" do I need to be that they don't attach well now?

Without knowing, I would say that it is a serious situation. My electrician would never show up at such short notice in person and lay the loop unless the priming time was important. The tiler has personal contact with him and travels around like a whirlwind to start and complete jobs. If he has something that needs fixing, it will be fixed. Period.

Sticky

Maybe I should have written that I laid the loop myself. This with the approval of the electrician I have who is doing the rest of the work here.

If it is supposed to be sticky, maybe I should apply a thin layer tomorrow to be on the safe side 😎

But if some things are already a cheat, it surely won't matter if the rest become that too.

I wouldn't classify it as cheating..
The assembly instructions are followed. The loop is tested before and after installation...
No one can tell if a professional did it or not.

It's not the same thing as the question about primer..
What is your point?

Sorry, in my book, it is blatant cheating. But everyone should mind their own business.

That may be so in your book.
But exactly how does that contribute to my question regarding the drying time of a primer?

Be that as it may. But exactly what does it contribute to my question regarding the time on a primer?
Well, it may not matter with the primer if it turns out that electrical work has been done by amateurs.

And regarding the primer, it must be kept within those hours. If it exceeds by that much, you have to redo it.

Yes, that it might not matter with the primer if it still emerges that electrical work was performed by amateurs.

The question about the primer is practical to know if the guests are significantly worse or if they go well anyway. Some suppliers seem to write 1-2 days. And it's difficult when Byggmax in my case has written "Should be done within a day," it's actually not a must.

Well, the drying time also depends on more than just the time. How does the floor feel then?

A little slightly sticky so it's not completely dry.

Leaning towards applying a thin layer tomorrow morning anyway..

If it's sticky, it should be reko. But put on a layer. The cable becomes embedded, etc., it sounds risky that something would mess up because of it.
