What does equilibrium moisture actually mean, I haven't really gotten the hang of it. Is it that certain building materials seek to reach equilibrium moisture?
It is the moisture content a material takes on at a given humidity level in the air. Humidity is often stated as relative humidity at a certain temperature, thus also indicating the absolute humidity (RH is easier to measure!).
