Hello!

It's time to get rid of the temporary stairs that replaced the old concrete stairs which were removed during drainage about 2 years ago.

I want a concrete/stone staircase. I have thought of three different constructions/methods:
1) Cast a new concrete staircase on site
2) Buy and lift in a new concrete staircase
3) Build one with concrete blocks and clad/plaster

What are your opinions about the above? Best/worst? Expensive/cheap? etc etc.

Thank you very much in advance!

  • Temporary wooden stairs with metal grate next to a house wall, awaiting replacement with a permanent stone or concrete structure. Pumpkin on top.
  • Temporary wooden stairs with two metal ramps, placed against a brick wall. A small and large pumpkin sit on top. A child's bike is on the side.
No one has any thoughts/opinions? :)

Hello! I would probably go with option 1 or 2. Doing masonry and plastering seems like more work, and then I don't know how to make the treads hold. Price-wise, I'm not sure which would be cheapest, but between options 1 and 2, I think 1 would be the cheapest.

Bump. More tips on this subject? How did it go for you ts? What did you choose?
