I have an old 1930s house and want to make a window a little larger.
The question is how to prop up the wall in a simple way before making the hole larger? 3 load-bearing beams are affected.
I would preferably not damage the existing ceiling by propping from the inside.

Something as below could work where you attach a UPE beam outside the wall and screw it into the wall under each wooden beam, and also fasten the UPE beam at the ends. This assumes that there are "reasonable" loads on the wooden beams and that there are not a lot of floors directly above. You may also need to screw into each vertical wooden stud so they don't fall down when you remove the existing beam above the window.
