Elemtnhus -67 underfloor heating floore
Hi, has anyone installed underfloor heating in a prefabricated house with the weird floor structure?
I'm planning to install underfloor heating with tiles in the hall, a total of 6 sqm.
But I don't want it to build up too much in height.
Currently, there's a cork-plastic mat with a 3.5mm plywood directly on the elements in the floor.
I was thinking of removing that and then laying floore underfloor heating boards (cell plastic) directly on the elements, and then adhesive and tiles on top. Apparently, you can do that with floore's underfloor heating. But do you think it's enough for the load-bearing capacity of the elements so that the joints won't crack?
I would prefer not to install a gypsum board as that would add another 12.5mm to the floor height.
Has anyone done something like this?
Best regards/Tony

how did it go with the floor? Please share. -and the usual photos, of course
Does it matter if you install waterborne floor heating "in the middle of" a radiator circuit that then continues to other radiators? I'm interested in doing something similar in our hall at some point in the future but probably keeping the radiator as well.
I understand that a shunt and pump are needed (anything more or less?).
