Currently renovating the townhouse, and among other things, will be installing new flooring and plastering a doorway. In a quote we've received, the bidder mentions "dust binding" when sanding the concrete floor (before laying the parquet) and also as an item under the doorway job. Another bidder does not mention these two items.
Can anyone explain what dust binding is? Is it something we should ask the other contractor to include in their quote?
