Hello,

I need to prepare for fiber installation. I will drill a hole through the horizontal fjällpanel and then the fiber association will bring in the fiber.
But how do they attach a cable cover on horizontal fjällpanel?
I could also drill a hole through the foundation and then up through the floor...

The installer performs the drilling, but the neatest way is to drill from the inside just above the skirting board down into the foundation, i.e., so that you come below the panel.

Hello,

No, I do the drilling and run VP pipes through the wall. The only thing the installer does is pull in the cable and attach a protective cable + box. I could talk to him, but it's a bit late, I'm planning to do the drilling this weekend and then the fiber will come. In our fiber association, you can do most of the work yourself.

But how do you hit so you come under the facade? But yeah, I hadn't thought of that. It could work.

under the facade is too far down. They're going to install a box on the outside.

Having the box on the outside is cumbersome from several perspectives. However, it's convenient if maintenance on the fiber is required as you don't need to be present. The risk is that the fiber might "peek out" and escape alongside the cable protection... I would have tried to negotiate removing the box and taken off the panel so that the fiber can be placed behind it. Then, only cable protection is needed under the panel. If that's not possible, I would have tried to get the fiber in some form of conduit rather than ordinary U-shaped cable protection. If there's space under the panel, it might be possible to wiggle the duct behind it as well, so you could manage by just removing a small part of the panel. Possibly, you could even saw with a Fein Multimaster-like saw so that only a small piece of a panel board is removed, the fiber is maneuvered in, and then reattached; these saws generally make quite thin cuts.
