Drilled too large holes in the frame. Do I need to drill new ones?
Hello
As you can probably understand from the title, I accidentally took a 16mm drill instead of 14mm.
Is there a way to fix it, or do I need to drill 8 new holes?
In that case, I would like to get 16mm träplugg
I have looked for larger karmhylsor, but they do not seem to be available.

Hi! Unfortunately, I think it's a lost cause. I haven't seen larger models of either karmskruv or adjufix. So you'll probably have to drill new ones, unfortunately. But you could plug the old holes with a 16mm dowel. If you glue them with wood glue, you can try drilling a 14mm hole in the same spot and see if you can screw in a karmskruv or adjufix, whatever you are using, and see if it might work. Otherwise, you'll have to plug and move the holes a few cm.
When I bought a swing gate, the supplier had accidentally drilled the holes too large. Discovered it during installation. They sent metal plates with threaded holes that you screwed onto the back of the frame over the frame holes. Then the frame sleeve fit into the thread on the plates. I don't remember what they were called, but they should be available for purchase anyway
Edit: found a site that sells them. It's called a repair kit https://byggtema.com/product/tema-reparationskit/
