Hello, I have an old apartment where the interior walls consist of solid planks, tightly joined, with reed held in place by wire and finally 3 cm of plaster on each side. I'm getting a bit tired of ruining wood drills, so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to proceed. For the first 3 cm of plaster, I use a concrete drill, then switch to a wood drill, but I can't feel when I reach the last 3 cm of plaster and immediately the wood drill is ruined.

Is there a universal drill bit that can be used?

Yes, they exist.
Otherwise, just use a metal drill bit.
Because it's regular concrete and wood drill bits with a tip that you're using, right?

you find link. nice.
they are available at beijer I know.

Now I don't know why you're drilling into the walls, but if it's to hang things on the walls, it's usually just a matter of driving a wood screw directly into the wall.

S
trying to plug into the wall as many do even though it's wood in the wall.

That's what I suspect.

No, I'm drilling through the wall for various cabling. Thanks for the link to the drill.

I have a blåbetong frame with lime-plastered walls. Wooden interior walls on the upper floor. Plastered ceilings. I simply have a double set of drills. The same goes for the hole saws which also take a lot of wear, but what can you do..... I buy the cheap versions for the "rough" drilling.
