Drawing software building permit garage

Hello!
Is there anyone who has used a good program if you want to try to draw up a garage to apply for a building permit, or is it better to bring in a consultant?

Sketchup is a simple program, but like everything, it takes a little time to understand the settings and such before you can start drawing, but once the drawing is finished, you can export to Layout in the right scale.

There are probably other programs, but Sketchup is free.
