Hello!
I have about 30 sqm extended from the old house, the new foundation is a crawl space with about 200mm insulation and half of it has underfloor heating...
The part without underfloor heating tends to get drafty around the feet and cold when the temperature drops to the levels we've had the last few winters. In the crawl space, it's classically built with oil-hardened masonite lying on pressure-treated 28x95, which in turn is nailed to the floor joist and then the insulation is on top, there's enough space to stand bent over so you don't have to crawl

luckily.
I'm thinking of buying 5cm polystyrene and laying it in double layers with staggered seams, gluing all the seams with PU glue and using foam sealant around the outer edge so it seals tightly, partly to seal against the floor (draft at the feet), and partly to additionally insulate.
If anyone has experience with this or has any other suggestions on how to address this problem, please feel free to write a line.
Best regards,
Nikke
