I found a trim nail, in my feed, that has a sharp end on each side with a collar that you use with a small tool/pipe to drive the longer end into the wall and then just tap the trim onto the shorter end that sticks out. Does anyone know where you can buy those?

  • Zinc-coated iron double-ended nail with collar and pointed tips, labeled dimensions 1cm and 2cm for wall mounting, silver color.
  • Dual-ended fluted nails with collars on a black surface, accompanied by a tube used for installation into walls.
  • Four-step image showing a two-ended spike used for wall molding: 1) spike in hand, 2) hammering tool, 3) spike in wall, 4) molding attached to spike.
Amazon.de (Germany) seems to have.

How did it go with these? Were they worth having?

It actually works. But it applies against walls of wood or chipboard.
