Do you really need to reinforce a cast concrete slab for a coffee table?

I last hung the net but then you have to shave off everything and then you let go of the rebar. But I'll try mixing the concrete harder.

What is the advantage of mixing fine and coarse concrete?

There is probably no advantage at all. I just think the result looks nice.

As stated here, you shouldn't have to hang up the rebar. Then the concrete is too loose. Rather, it's the case that you have to press the rebar into the concrete.
