Considering building an LB-house (turnkey contract). However, we are completely inexperienced when it comes to building constructions, etc. Do we need to hire someone knowledgeable in construction then? Can we trust that the house company's design regarding groundwork, foundation, and the building itself is sufficiently good? I can add that LB-house itself provides a quality manager included in the price. If we hire someone else, we will have to pay for it ourselves. I gladly welcome tips and advice.

An independent quality manager can always be good. You never know how impartial someone is who gets their jobs from the supplier.

I kind of feel the same way... But at the same time, you want to keep the costs down as much as possible. Difficult balance this :-/

I think it might be worth it. Someone at my work had their upper floor redone because the quality manager didn't approve the job.

Now that we're adding another floor, we got the recommendation from the supplier to get one ourselves. They could refer a kvalans, but thought it would be better if we did it ourselves.
