"Do it yourself" - which insulation material?
In the latest(?) issue of "Do it Yourself," an insulating board was mentioned that is diffusion-open and can be plastered directly. Suitable, for example, for insulation on the inside of a basement wall. Can someone tell me what the board was called? There was a website address too that I can't remember. If anyone has any experiences with the board, please feel free to write it down.
was it like this they meant?

There was a small notice in the newspaper, whatever it was called, but I've lost it... It wasn't a stone wool board, I've got the impression that it resembled more like foam plastic in appearance. A new product on the Swedish market in any case.
SBH: Hmm, I don't think so. That one is meant to be on the outside, and it drains at the same time.
MB77: The recommendation is probably still to insulate on the outside, but this would be an alternative where that is not possible. If the wall is kept completely diffusion open inward and if organic materials are avoided, perhaps you can tolerate a bit of moisture in the wall?

Keep in mind that just because the board is what you call diffusion-open, which is considered a fairly arbitrary measure of vapor permeability, you will also need to plaster on top of this and then probably paint. You can figure out that the construction will become much denser depending on what type of plaster you choose, but especially the paint.
