I am wondering if I dare drill a support bar into the house's plinth, since I need to install a support bar for a gate and I am a bit worried about leading moisture into the slab.
The slab is of a somewhat older construction: concrete with lecasten below (so no foam insulation here).
The hole will be about 5 - 10 cm above ground and 7 - 8 cm deep.
Is it sufficient to use some construction silicone?
