I am going to build a bench using IKEA fan cabinets, but my question is, how far in should the kickboard be installed? The legs are made for base cabinets that have pre-drilled "holes," and the pins on the legs need to be removed since these holes do not exist on the fan cabinets. But I don't know the distance (what looks good??) from the kickboard to the edge of the cabinet???
Thankful for help..

Thank you for the help... I'll get back to you
... I have another problem as I'm going to have pull-out drawers and these don't seem to be adapted for the fläktskåpsluckorna (no pre-drilled holes).... so I'll have to measure there, but it's much more practical to have pull-outs at that height...

Yes, they are gerat, in the baseboard that is.
It should probably be redone now, and perhaps an outer corner list glued there or something similar.
As you say, true, the fan cabinet/upper cabinets are for doors, but I assume those who use these in, for example, seating furniture in the kitchen and hall want drawers?
Or is there another frame that comes prepared with holes for pull-outs?

the frame has the right holes but not the door..
...it only has the large holes for the hinges...have emailed ikea to see if they have a drilling template for it. Because this specific combination was mounted in the store with a pull-out, but silly me didn't look at how the door was attached to the pull-out drawer..

If you insert the drawer into the carcass and then the fittings into the drawer, you can measure to determine where the fittings will be on the front, and in this way drill in the correct place... but be careful not to drill through the front as you need to go quite deep for the fittings to be pressed into the front...
Why isn't the front pre-drilled really?...or are no fronts from Ikea pre-drilled for the pull-out drawers? Yes, I might have to do as you say, measure my way forward, I saw that it seems possible to adjust the front slightly on a couple of adjustment screws afterward....
