Due to poor storage, some of my råspont has become discolored (black in various shades). Can these be used, or should I just cut them up as firewood? It doesn't feel quite right to use them. What do you think?

(It is possible to use (I spoke with AAnticimex about this and it was OK according to one of their "experts"))

It's probably black mold.
At Flugger Färg they have something
you can spray on to get rid of it.

I have something similar in the eaves of my new build.
Probably the sheathing was a bit damp together with
last year being the worst ever when it comes to
mold.

Wouldn't use them! I have personally been involved in replacing raw edge boards when just such attacked ones were used. Not fun!!!

Boracol is meant to be used if damage occurs when the house is built!

No, raw edge boards are relatively cheap, so cut them up for firewood and you can sleep well then!!!

Thanks for the answers, sleep restored ;D
