Hello,
I am planning to build a wall with lecablocks... About 4 meters long, 2 meters high, and I'm considering using 15 cm wide blocks...
I have dug a trench that is about 40-45 cm wide and made 3 "projections" from the trench to get a bit more stability overall. The projections are about 50 cm out from the trench and just as wide... See the attached sketch...

The wall will be freestanding... Do you think it's enough to cast a 20 cm thick footing in coarse concrete (of course with reinforcement)?
I have made the trench about 40 cm deep...

Best regards,
Tobbe G

It will surely be fine!

Might seem a little weak. Maxit for example recommends 25cm blocks at 2m height and 35% of the total height below ground. Your retaining supports might compensate for this to some extent.
A wider footing than the wall is a good rule.
