Dimension of drill when installing frame pieces

Hello,

I am going to assemble the door frames for a door with dimensions of 9 x 21. I'm wondering what thickness and length of drill bit should be used to prevent it from cracking later?

It is common to glue frame pieces together? If you mean drill for frame screws, it's 14mm.

I think TS means which screw should be used to assemble an interior door frame. I usually use screws of 4.5x70, drill with a 2.5-3mm drill bit. Also glue.

Have only glued here in the house and it has held for ten years, but if I were building for someone else I would probably also secure with a screw or two......

Ahh I see, thank you so much for the answers. Didn't know you could just as well glue.

It probably doesn't hurt to follow the tool guru's wise advice and tighten a couple of screws.......but hold, yes they do, for an inner door at least.
