We are expanding with two floors, but the current one will keep its single-story. Can send our facade drawings if that might convince my partner? I wouldn't be comfortable challenging the already simplified construction of our summer cottage with another floor, but that's more of a gut feeling (the dimensions are quite weak, which is noticeable).
We plan to renovate, add insulation, and achieve the same style as the extension in the future, or if we can afford it, demolish the old part and expand the extension in the future with two floors and then fix a new foundation at the same time.
